A lovely summer pleasure....juicy, sweet watermelon. This little beauty was just a wee seed a short time ago, planted by my hardworking guy. Today, we got to enjoy it's cool, refreshing taste! It could have done with a tad more time to ripen but it was still delicious. And I must mention that it is bigger than it looks in that "up in the air" shot. Our first homegrown watermelon - fun, fun, fun!

ReplyDeleteHi Brittany! Yep, this is our first year. I think my husband must have planted a ton of seeds because we've got an out-of-control melon patch. The little babies are SO cute! =)
